Tench
My Favourite method for Tench is the Lift Method. The lift method is where your bait is on the bottom and if a Tench picks up your bait the float will lift up but if a Tench takes the bait and starts to swim away with it the float will start moving to the side or go under.
My Favourite bait for Tench is 2 or 3 pieces of Sweetcorn on a size 12 or 14 hook.
The best ways to find Tench is to look for bubbles on the waters surface or fish quite close to weed.

Chub
My Favourite method for Chub is freelining.You can tell if a fish takes your bait because the line will either go slack or tight if it goes tight the rod will probably bend slightly and you'll feel a little tug.
My Favourite bait for Chub is Breadcrust on a size 10 hook.
The best way to find Chub is to look on bends and near trees, polaroid glasses will help too.
